Structural Concrete Work in Bettendorf
From the foundation of a high-rise to the concrete roof of a commercial building, there is very little it cannot do. Goetz only hires top notch workers. Our structural concrete crew is staffed with professionally trained experts who are efficient, effective and safe. We dig securely without disturbing or disrupting the ground underneath and do the proper inspections beforehand. This way we can prevent any possible disturbances, damages or complications regarding underground wiring or piping.
Structural Concrete for Construction Projects
Throughout the years we have done all aspects of concrete work from streets and bridges to pools to water treatment plants to decorative concrete to work overseas in Brazil for missionaries. We employ various union trades including carpenters, finishers, laborers, ironworkers, and operators. With more than 70 years working with concrete in all its many forms, Goetz Concrete Construction Corp specializes in making structural concrete that will stand up to the test of time.
When creating either a foundation or a custom piece of structural concrete, we take into consideration the desired function, the environment the concrete will be in and whether the concrete will be general wear and tear or if it will have other materials protecting it.
A history of excellence in Bettendorf
Goetz Construction was started in 1958 by Raymond R. Goetz Jr shortly after his honorable discharge from the Army in which he served as a Paratrooper. Although his first love was carpentry, his part-time concrete work paid the bills. He was a skilled cabinet maker who carried a cement finisher’s card.
His first pieces of equipment were a simple shovel and wheel barrel obtained on credit with a handshake. His first work vehicle was the family station wagon. It is joked that Goetz Construction now has enough equipment to build a small city!
With Ray’s reputation for quality workmanship, fair prices, and timely work completion Goetz Construction grew rapidly. Starting with one man, Raymond Goetz, in 1958, Goetz now is led by his grandson, Sorensen, and various key leaders. We pride ourselves on treating our employees like family, and holding up family values and Christian morals.
If you are in Bettendorf and think your concrete could use a resurfacing or repair then you can count on Goetz Concrete Construction Corp to get the job done at a fair price.
